Current Funding Opportunities

2024 Roadmap to Reducing Violence in Madison & Dane County

We are currently accepting applications from local community organizations to receive funding that supports violence prevention efforts in Dane County.

In total, there is $410,000 available. We are prioritizing projects that focus on:

•    Youth development
•    Safe and affordable housing
•    Supporting agencies to adopt culturally responsive treatment planning
•    Supporting the expansion of emergency mental health services
•    Hospital based intervention programming for victims of gun violence    

Applications are due by the end of the day on December 20, 2023.

Violence Prevention Grant Program 2023 Awardees

PFAS Community Outreach 2023 Awardees

We released a request for proposals (RFP) for community engagement around the issue of PFAS pollution in our community in July, 2023. We offered $30,000 in small grants of $5,000-$10,000 for community agencies to help spread the word about PFAS contamination in the environment and ways to avoid exposure to them. After reviewing 9 proposals, the review team awarded 4 grants to the following agencies:
