Current Employment Opportunities

Public Health Nurse, Project (closes 4/11/2025): The person in this position works in the Nurse Family Partnership program. Provides professional public health nursing leadership in the community and is responsible for the core public health functions of assessment, assurance and policy development. Identifies populations who are at risk for illness, disability and premature death using individual, family and community assessment and analysis.

LTE Public Health Field Staff (continuous): The people in this position are responsible for performing a variety sampling and data collection activities in the field as well as technical and analytical work in the Public Health Laboratory. Examples of duties include collection and analysis of beach water quality samples and performing field sampling of water for mosquito larvae.


Internships

There are no internships currently available. Some Limited Term Employment (LTE) jobs, listed under Employment Opportunities when open, may be appropriate for college and graduate students and could serve as an internship opportunity. See requirements under Education, Training, and Experience.
