On Monday, August 23, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine became the first fully approved COVID-19 vaccine in the United States. The vaccine will now be marketed as “Comirnaty” and is now fully approved for everyone 16 years old and older.
Effective August 19, 2021, face coverings are required among people ages two and older when in any enclosed space open to the public where other people, except for members of the person’s own household or living unit, are present.
