Pregnancy Options
Do you want to talk to someone about your pregnancy options? Our Reproductive Health Nurse Navigators are there for you! Learn how they can help.
Pregnancy Support
Get support and information to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
- The WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Program
- The Nurse-Family Partnership program
- The Prenatal Care Coordination program
The WIC Program provides:
- Information about nutrition
- Healthy foods to supplement your diet
- Education and support for breastfeeding/chestfeeding
- Lactation Consultants and Breastfeeding Peer Counselors to partner with you in meeting your breastfeeding goals
- Connections to other services
- You do not need to be a legal resident to apply
Our Nurse-Family Partnership Program
- Is for people who are pregnant with their first child.
- It provides:
- Personalized support to set goals and reach them
- Support for getting health care
- Information about pregnancy, breastfeeding, and parenting
- Connections to other services
- You must enroll before the end of 28 weeks in your pregnancy.
- You are income eligible if you qualify for the programs below. (You do not need to be enrolled in these programs.)
- WIC
- FoodShare
- Medicaid
- Wisconsin Works Program (W-2)
- Our nurses are available to work with you and your family until your baby is 2 years old.
- If you are thinking about abortion or adoption, you are still able to apply. You can also talk with one of our Reproductive Health Nurse Navigators about your options. They provide all-options pregnancy counseling, resources, and education for anyone who needs support with a pregnancy.

Our Prenatal Care Coordination Program
- Provides:
- Personalized support to set goals and reach them
- Support for getting health care
- Information about pregnancy, breastfeeding, and parenting
- Connections to other services
- You can enroll anytime during your pregnancy (the sooner the better!).
- You are income eligible if you qualify for the programs below. (You do not need to be enrolled in these programs.)
- WIC
- FoodShare
- Medicaid
- Wisconsin Works Program (W-2)
- You do not need to be in your first pregnancy.
- Our nurses are available to work with you and your family until your baby is 2 months old.

Perinatal Care Coordination (PNCC) & Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) client visits may happen in person, by phone or by virtual visit.
