- The number of people in the ER with flu is still at a moderate level, but both ER visits for flu and flu-related hospitalizations have continued on a downward trend since their peak a month ago.
- Young kids are still experiencing a lot of respiratory illness. Last week 16% of ER visits among all ages were due to respiratory illness, but 39% of ER visits among 0-4 year olds were due to respiratory illness. There has also been a small uptick in the number of people hospitalized for RSV in the past week.
- COVID levels remain low overall, but there still have been 14 reported deaths due to COVID so far this year, compared to 10 for flu.
