Period Products 101
Event Description
Public Health Madison & Dane County is partnering with Madison Public Library to host the third annual Period Party at Goodman South Madison Library in September! This year, the program is expanding from a single-day celebration to a multi-session series where youth and families can go in-depth to learn about menstruation, puberty, period products, and more. Each event is led by a speaker from Public Health Madison & Dane County, with additional activities and snacks offered, and plenty of time for questions along the way.
The second in the series of events is called Period Products 101. A healthcare professional from Public Health Madison & Dane County will provide an overview of the different options available to those who menstruate, talk through the pros and cons of various products, and do demonstrations using medical models. The presentation will allow plenty of time for questions.
Registration is requested. Light snacks and giveaways will be provided.
