If you’re new to the data snapshot, we publish a weekly summary of the status for each of our metrics (you can find past issues on our data and dashboard page). The data below are from May 31 to June 13.

Cases were stable during this 14-day period.

There was an average of 8 cases per day, which is again the lowest we’ve had since the May 22, 2020 Snapshot! We also have a low percent positivity of 0.8% and conducted an average of 1,345 tests per day.

Over the past four weeks, cases have decreased among ages 8-39 and 50-59 and remained stable among all other age groups. There was only an average of 1.2 cases per day among ages 50+ and 1.4 cases per day among youth ages 0-17 during this 14-day period.

68% of Dane County residents have received at least one dose of vaccine.

62% have completed the vaccine series. 78.5% of the eligible population (ages 12+) have received at least one dose of vaccine.

At our current pace, we could expect 80% of the eligible (12+) Dane County population to have at least one dose of vaccine by July 9, 2021.

We are seeing lower vaccination rates in areas of outlying municipalities in Dane County, and some pockets of Madison, Fitchburg, and Sun Prairie.
