Current Employment Opportunities
LTE Public Health Field Staff (continuous): The people in this position are responsible for performing a variety of sampling and data collection activities in the field as well as technical and analytical work in the Public Health Laboratory. Examples of duties include collection and analysis of beach water quality samples and performing field sampling of water for mosquito larvae.
Environmental Health Specialist (closes 6/27/2025): The person in this position assists with planning and implementation of response to emerging contaminants, such as PFAS. Performs field investigations and sampling, conducts laboratory testing and analysis, responds to complaints, and executes monitoring and surveillance activities. Effectively communicates with concerned individuals, community groups, partner organizations, and other state and local agencies.
