The ADA is a wide-ranging civil rights law that prohibits discrimination based on disability. The law requires an employer or other entity to provide reasonable accommodations unless doing so would cause significant difficulty or expense. The Department of Justice is the federal agency charged with enforcing the ADA.
ADA requirements for pools require entities to provide "accessible means of entry for pools." These can include pool lifts, sloped entries (ramps), transfer walls, transfer systems, or stairs.
