Needle Exchange
The re-use and sharing of syringes can transmit disease, such as HIV and Hepatitis B and C. Needle Exchange can prevent this transmission from occurring. Public Health - Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) Needle Exchange gives new syringes for used ones with no questions asked, and no names used.
- HIV antibody testing, Hepatitis A and B vaccines, bleach kits, condoms, and other health referrals are available upon request.
